Bee Biodiversity Study

This season Hollenback is working with Professor Tim Leslie, a new member of the faculty in the Biology Department at local Long Island University.  Tim has a background in entomology and is researching beneficial insect conservation in urban community gardens.  To learn more, contact the garden at hollenbackcommunitygarden@yahoo.com or contact Tim at Timothy.Leslie@liu.edu

For a summary of a season's worth of research for Tim and his students, check out "Wild Bee Diversity in Brooklyn Community Gardens"

For another interesting project about observing bees, check out "The Great Pollinator Project - Bee Watchers: Citizen Science"
